Job Announcement

The City of Pass Christian is currently accepting applications for the position of Chief of Police. The starting salary range for the position is $46,000 to $48,000 per year depending upon experience. For a complete job description, click here or pick up at City Hall, 200 W. 2015 basketball Season schedule


Pass Christian, Miss., March 3, 2015 -- The Pass Christian Theatre Project has announced a revised schedule of original one-act plays written by local authors, and directed by local guest directors.  The works featured include:
·“Park View” written and directed by Jerusha Bosarge: A look at about what happens when parents relive their lives through their children; 
·“Batty” by Traci Bonney directed by Tom Longnecker: A play about a Thanksgiving dinner when grandma and her beau go batty;   
·“Slab Magnolias” by Harry Clarke directed by Jerry Varvel: Who remembers what happens when a group of Katrina survivors reunite at a 10th anniversary slab party; and

The performances are now scheduled for Thursday through Sunday, March 19, 20 and 21 at 7:30pm and on Sunday, March 22 at 2:30  

Doors will open 30 minutes prior to curtain at Randolph Center, 315 Clarke Avenue, Pass Christian. Admission is $10.

Advertisement for Bids

The City of Pass Christian, Mississippi, will receive bids for:
at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Pass Christian, Mississippi, during normal office hours at any time prior to the designated bid date, but not later than 3:30 p.m. on April 7, 2015. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen at 6:00 P.M., April 7, 2015. The meeting will be held in Board Room at the City Hall complex located at 200 West Scenic Drive. This project will be funded in part by a Recreational Trails Program from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.

Pass Library: Freedom Riders Exhibit

The Pass Christian Public Library is hosting a Freedom riders Traveling Exhibit
The Freedom Rides: Journey for Change” focuses on one of the most prominent events in Civil Rights history by embracing the struggles that many individuals endured to create a society of equality.  This special exhibit will be on display from March 20th to May 25th, 2015.
This traveling exhibit, produced by the Museum Division of the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, includes images of the bombing of a Greyhound bus outside of Anniston, Alabama; the journey from Montgomery to Jackson; Freedom Riders at the Greyhound Bus Station in Jackson; Freedom Riders at the Jackson airport; mugshots, and Freedom Riders going to trial in Jackson. Many of the images were taken from the original film footage in the WLBT News Film Collection.
The exhibit will be open Monday through Saturday during regular library hours (8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday) and during special events.  To learn more you can email at or you can call the Pass Christian Public Library at 228-452-4596.  Thanks to the Friends of the Pass Christian Library for paying the transportation cost to bring us this exhibit.

Randolph Center

The Randolph Center is a Multi Use Facility, housing the Senior Citizens Center as well as
offering a wing of the building, available to rent for private parties and meetings
Currently it is also being used for The Pass Christian theater Project.
